JAMES McLANE

I'm James McLane, author of From the Shores of Glandora, Johnny Rocket, and other stories.

My early influences included C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Rowling, and Dickens, among others.  

​

I've always loved the craft of writing--from layering sentences into strong paragraphs, to building the twists and turns of an interesting plot.

Some of my favorite writers and tonal influences include Wodehouse, Capote, Fitzgerald, and E.B. White.

I'm lucky to call Canada home. I live and write in Calgary, AB.
